The Business So Far

The Xquisito Licensed Business System

The Xquisito Licensed Business System was developed around a retail model established at the first Xquisito store which opened in Westfield Chatswood in early 2000. Company Director, Richard Lewis and his team recognised a niche in the marketplace at a time when healthy options were just being talked about and the mainstays of sandwiches, noodles and burgers dominated. Whilst the business focuses on offering a “made to order…fresh”® concept the group also insists on the meals being healthy, tasty and generous as well as being served in a timely fashion.

Using a franchise model called a Licensed Business System , the group has grown at a rate of over 30% pa in the last 3 years and now operates 15 stores around NSW – primarily within Sydney. Most stores are in food courts in prime retailing positions and the company's strong relationships with the major shopping centre groups has helped secure powerful store positions for most of its outlets. The business has grown with both Company stores and Licensed stores but future growth is anticipated through a growing network of Licensed stores both in NSW and nationally.

Xquisito is the clear leader in the Mexican, Crepe and Potato fast food sector and intends holding on to this position through a commitment to an expansion program based on a quality offer in strong retail locations.

Key factors supporting its future growth can be viewed through the company's substantial investment in food manufacturing and distribution control systems, store design and development programs, brand development through packaging and promotions, investment in training facilities for new and exisiting operators as well as the introduction of key personnel aimed at strengthening brand consistency in the delivery of the product and service.
